• Ulysse Nardin
The Ulysse Nardin Company was founded in 1846 by the twenty-three year old remonteur, who signed each one of his masterpieces. The company celebrated its
150th anniversary in 1996 by introducing the marine Chronometer 1846 and the Perpetual Ludwig which was named after the celebrated watchmaker, Dr. Ludwig Oechslin, also
the man behind the Astolabium series. Two of the most notable Ulysse Nardin pieces are the GMT Perpetual, introduced in 1999, combining two waches into one and the Freak (2001),
a tourbillon with no hands or crown.
