• Oris
Oris reached their century anniversary in 2004, yet today many watch collectors and aficionado's are only now discovering their tremendous catalog.
This is more than likely attributed to the value of their predominantly automatic timepieces. That, and the fact that they are assembled in their factory in Helstein, Switzerland.
Beginning at $1000, and giving you mirror polished cases of surgical stainless steel, beautifully Guilloche dials, and in some cases Carbon Fiber, Oris packs a lot of horology into a relatively inexpensive package.
Add the corporate tie-ins, like Williams F1 racing, and the kick-ass free-diver, Carlos Coste, and Oris timepieces becomes cool. Cool like Dizzy Gillespie, and Frank Sinatra....They make those as well.
